Canfor is a global leader in the manufacturing of sustainable forest products including lumber, pulp, paper, wood pellets and green energy with operations in Canada, the United States and Sweden.
In the U.S., we operate as Canfor Southern Pine with 16 manufacturing facilities and one trucking fleet, New South Express, and two corporate offices in Mobile, Alabama, and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We are a leading supplier of high-quality, sustainable Southern Yellow Pine.
We take great pride in the strength of our Southern Yellow Pine products, with a large portion destined for the machine stress-related (MSR) lumber market.
We Buy Standing Timber in the U.S. South
Canfor Southern Pine is proud to partner with private landowners in the U.S. South who are interested in selling their timber. Our friendly and knowledgeable foresters and timber buyers will work closely with landowners to bid and buy standing pine timber.
We aim to return the highest value for your timber. We believe that producing sustainably certified wood product results in higher value for you and for Canfor Southern Pine. Our team includes Licensed Registered Foresters. We have a 20-40 acre minimum in order to move out our logging crews.
