Our approach.

At Canfor, our supply chain includes sourcing of fibre, goods and services, and transportation of products across our business and to our customers. We work with suppliers to help them understand and meet our expectations and pursue shared sustainability goals. We favour suppliers committed to sustainable management practices.

When procuring goods and services, we evaluate suppliers based on criteria such as quality, cost, and timely delivery. When procuring fibre, we purchase from sources in line with our Log Procurement Program Policy and Fibre Procurement Policy, which outline sustainability expectations. A certified chain of custody system provides an information trail through every stage of fibre procurement. We continually work to optimize the efficiency and resiliency of our transportation services, collaborating with partners to ensure our customers receive products when they need them. We continue to pursue sustainability measures in our supply chain.
