When it comes to staying ahead, Canfor Pulp’s Technical Lab team is leading the charge.
In 2024, they achieved ISO accreditation two years ahead of the deadline established under the new Environmental Data Quality Assurance Regulation. The regulation, announced in 2023,provided specifications on how environmental data – such as for soil, air and water– is to be collected, analyzed, and reported
When the regulation was announced, the team at Canfor Pulp embarked on a mission to improve their labs and establish world-class testing processes. The team integrated cutting-edge technologies like automated analyzers, and adopted a Laboratory Management System to streamline information, quality, and safety processes.
