What do 5 months, 13 events and countless pancakes, burgers, hot dogs and cake make? They represent the wrap-up of our annual western Canadian Canfor Summer events. It was a busy spring and summer involving lots of planning and organizing to bring our Canfor Summer events back to our Canadian operating communities, but a great way to say thanks to the great people who support our company.
Come rain or shine, we saw a great turnout at all 13 events in BC and Alberta. We also received lots of positive feedback from attendees including a staff member of the city of Fort St. John who shared that the Canfor Summer event, “is one of the most organized and respectful to our green spaces.”
It was a pleasure to connect with members of our communities, Canfor staff and their families, and, most importantly, to show our thanks for the support everyone provides to Canfor. We look forward to hosting employee events in our US South operations in the coming months.
Thank you to everyone who came out this year and again for all your support of Canfor!
