Canfor to Sponsor Prince George Fireworks for Additional Three Years

Our communities and the people who live in them are the backbone of our company, and being a valued contributor to the communities where we operate is a key value here at Canfor. One such community is the City of Prince George, Canfor’s largest employment base, and where their Canada Day fireworks event brings the community together to celebrate every year.

Canfor has signed on to sponsor the Prince George Canada Day fireworks for an additional three years.

We’re excited to continue our sponsorship of the Prince George Canada Day fireworks celebrations and to commit for another three years. We recognize the significance that this event holds in the community and are honoured to ensure this event continues into the future.

Over the past years, we have had a tremendous response to the fireworks sponsorship. All of us at Canfor have appreciated seeing just how much the fireworks capping off a day of Canada Day celebrations means to the community.

Working with the City of Prince George and Mayor Lyn Hall has been a thoroughly enjoyable experience for Canfor, and I am proud to partner with such a strong and tight knit community like Prince George. It is a partnership that will no doubt be strong for years to come.

“The City of Prince George is very pleased to have a company like Canfor as part of our community. We’re thankful for the contributions that companies like Canfor make to strengthen Prince George throughout the year, including the sponsorship of the much-loved Canada Day Fireworks. These sponsorships make events like the Canada Day Fireworks possible.” – Mayor Lyn Hall

A big thank you to the City of Prince George for ensuring the fireworks have gone off without a hitch in previous years – I’m sure the coming celebrations will be no different.
