Supporting Medical Care for BC Kids

Canfor is proud to continue our commitment of giving back to the communities in which we operate. This includes Canfor’s long-standing tradition of supporting events and organizations – particularly those that benefit children and youth, including the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.

This past weekend marked the 30th anniversary of BC Children’s Hospital Foundation’s Miracle Weekend and Canfor’s 29th consecutive year sponsoring this important fundraising event. Canfor donated $10,670 and we continued our tradition of having a group of Canfor Kids present our donation at this televised event.  Our donation, which consists of a corporate donation and funds raised by employees, will help ensure that BC Children’s Hospital is able to provide the best care possible. BC Children’s Hospital is located in Vancouver but serves children from across BC, including those who travel from the many BC communities where Canfor operates.

Congratulations to the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation which raised a record-breaking $20,300,680 and to everyone who donated. Canfor takes great pride in contributing to the success of this key fundraising event.
