Canfor Corporation (TSX: CFP) today reported net income of $32.3 million for the
first quarter of 2011, compared to $55.4 million for the fourth quarter of 2010 and $35.5 million for the first quarter of 2010. The Company’s net income attributable to shareholders (“shareholder net income”) for the first quarter of 2011 was $7.0 million, or $0.05 per share, down from $31.4 million, or $0.22 per share, for the fourth quarter of 2010 and down from $18.3 million, or $0.13 per share, reported for the first quarter of 2010.
